6 things every person should know, but don't.

Wednesday

Something better.

Everything happens for a reason. You may not understand it, like it or need it. Sometimes it needs to happen. For you or for someone else. Either way this is going to happen.

You can fight it and beat yourself till, till....
Or you can let go and let God do his thing.

I've been on this insane journey for a while now and I'm still not sure of where I'm headed.
I have never been this unsure about the direction I'm headed in.
But, I do know I am being divinely lead.

How? Well, I'll tell you.

This will be the third time I went from coast to coast in 2 years.
Circumstances, bad circumstances always bring to the west coast.

I don't know why, but I feel it isn't for me.
I am never happy there, life is always wrong there.

I am here again faced with the same question, where do I go from here?

This is where God comes in.

I started praying, really praying like pouring out my heart praying.
I found out when I did this, major changes would take place.
Some good, some bad, but it was still change.

Giving up your will and surrendering completely to God is a terrifying thing.

What if what God wants for me, isn't what I want for me?

Wow...

Here is the catch, what if what God wants for you is so much better and so much sweeter then you could ever fathom?

Maybe God allowed disappointment to take place in your life or took something out of your life.
Either way your not happy. God has the amazing ability to never leave us lacking for long.

When peter brought his boat back empty he was done and ready to call it a day, but God had other plans. Peter was looking for a catch for the day, while God wanted him to have more then enough for him and the others with him.

God knows what he's doing, trust him.
I do.

Monday

The Worst to date

I had a completely different idea for this post, but screw that.

I haven't been posting because there is way too much going on. So much I don't know how to fit it all in one post. Sometimes I think my life is one big soap opera, i am not the star, but a co-star. I can be distant at times, So I make random appearances, every now and again.

Dad passing away was the worst to date.

Sunday

No Foundation, No Problem!

Ever wonder how your going to get a flawless look without foundation? ever try to figure out how the hell am I not going to melt in the heat?

Living in this hot climate makes it pretty difficult, but I think I have come up with a solution that has been helping me look put together without all that heaviness on my face.  I am not claiming my face is flawless, but I am getting pretty close ;)

4 tips to self worth

Wednesday

Thank you!

Hello, My Beauties!

First I want to say that I missed you all very much and I am so glad to see how everyone has grown with their blogs and you tubes channels!! I love the support I have gotten through email and messages from all of you, but I have to confess there has been one person who has helped me through this big transition in my life and her name is Ashley Maria.

Ashley is one of the first people I have met through blogging and she has been there ever since. She has supported me and lifted me up when I was down in the dumps. During my chaos I reached out to Ashley and Asked if she could help keep my blog going, while I was having my melt down and as always she was there like a bear, ready to help in anyway she could.

There are no words to explain how much this simple act of kindness has helped me. She took something that was a burden to me during my issues and lifted a stress from me and gave me a much needed break, For that alone I can never thank her enough.

I don't know how to thank you, but I can tell you what I wish for you.
I wish you every happiness your heart desires. I wish you love and a warm heart from someone who deserves you and cherishes you everyday. I wish you success in all your endeavours.  You are the best and I hope that every person you meet on your journey in life experiences your awesomeness.

Love you Ash. Thanks for everything baby girl :)

You can fall in love with Ashley on her blog too.

Whats been happening! UPDATE

Hello, My Beauties.

I know I have been gone for a while and most of you have been have sent me messages as to where I have been an whats been going on with me. Well, you should ask what did not happen instead.

As you know my David my ex and I seperated in late may early june, during this time my dad decided it was time for the family to get together, so I hopped on a train to get to my sisters, so we can drive down to Las Vegas to spend some time with him.

During that two weeks a lot took place, things got hectic with David and the separation procedures. I started getting close Donald to someone I have been attracted to for a while now and things just went from there. I know this has nothing to do with beauty or makeup, but I feel you all needed an update.

I am currently living in Miami with Donald and there is just way to much to get into, but things have calmed down and I am back to blogging. I will probably be using a mac book to film and what not.

I have missed everyone and can't wait to catch up!

If you have any questions, lets have them :)

Thanks for reading, have a blessed day.

Too hot for foundation look

Foundation, acne, Skin, skin care, giveaway,

Hello, My Beauties!

I have to say the truth, I haven't been wearing foundation since the heat started. I hate that feeling of melting foundation on my face, it freaks me out, so I have been doing a little something to help me look like a person without actually being a person!

Friday

dr.brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant

Hello, My Beauties!

Today I have a lil piece of heaven to share with you all. The dr.brandt microdermabrasion skin exfoliant.
I got this sample tube and I could not wait to share it with you all, but with the move it got delayed. So lets get into this bad boy.

Key Ingredients:
Chamomile - calms, soothes and reduces irritation.
Aloe vera - healing emollient that soothes irritations and prevents scarring.
Aluminum oxide - pharmaceutical grade crystals that polish and remove dead skin cells.
Jojoba - easily absorbed vegetable oil that soothes and softens the skin.
Lactic acid - alpha hydroxy acid derived from milk gently sweeps away dead skin cells and softens skins texture

Dr. Brandt recommends: Dampen skin with warm water. Slowly and gently massage cream onto skin for 1-2 minutes avoiding the eye area. Rinse well, pat dry. Best if used 1-2 times per week allowing 3 days between applications.

I do exfoliate often like almost everyday, BUT! its with a gentle exfoliant so its not that bad, I hope.
I have never microdermabrasion-ed myself so this method is new to me.

Anyhoo, I looked at the tube and thought what is this little tube going to do for me?
I applied a small dime sized amount to fingertips and immediately I got hit with this lovely lemon scent.

I began to apply it to my face and noticed a little goes a long way, It spread to nicely and smooth.
It has a gritty feeling to it, like a soft fine milled feeling that allows you to know this product will go deeper than any other product had before.

Once I had it spread I couldn't just stop there, I brought out my ClariSonic Mia and used it for the recommended minute all over my face .

Wow! It was so heavenly and felt so good. I can honestly say my face has never felt like that before.
My face felt clean and fresh and it looked brighter too. I just love that I felt like, Okay I know my face is clean now.

This product claims to get your skin ready for your other products. This is true, I felt like it opened my face and ready to accept the goodness of my other skin care products.

I love this product! but the price tag Breaks my heart :(

I do recommend you try this product at least once, so you can understand the love I feel for it.

I did get three uses our of the trial size, so a little goes a long way.
