So you want to Start a Blogging
Hello, there!
Today I am going to start a series on some questions that are asked often in the blogging community.
Starting a blog is easy, it just takes a few clicks here and there, but I am going to take you behind the scenes and show you some stuff I learned through trial and error without going through the time consuming mistakes.
I do feel this subject is a lot better explained through verbal communication, so let go!

Hello, My Beauties!
I hope your having a great holiday weekend. I have been pretty busy, with Beauty News Network and the Worlds Largest Beauty Collab, that I had to take a day off and do something that inspired me.
I was surfing the net and I found some Pictures of Coachella, wow! The looks that the celebrities were wearing were amazing! Especially the bohemian type looks, so I got busy and created this look.

I did have fun creating this look, even though I had to put together the accessories in a pinch haha, I dont have many bohemian type jewelry pieces and I was missing an earring haha!

12 Things I learned in 8 months of Blogging.
Okay, so I have been here for a while on the interwebs in the blogosphere and I think I learned some stuff, not much but enough to cover the law and call myself a blogger. Some people say I have accomplished a lot in my short time, however I feel different, like I haven't accomplished enough.
Maybe thats just me, I tend to dive into things and what to absorb every aspect of it in the shortest amount of time. I have many different passions within my life, but blogging is on a whole other level. I wanted to blog since, well a long time around 7 or 8 years ago, but life had other plans for me. So here I am all blogged out with three blogs to manage, one of which is a blog I write on when I am angry with my husband, but as you can see isn't very often. So on to this post.
12 Things I learned in 8 Months of Blogging.
1. No one in your personal life will understand why you blog.
Your family and friends will all ask " why do you blog?" and my favorite "have you made any money yet?!"
Don't do it for no one else but yourself.
2. There are people out there.
Once you find your niche you will come to find out there are a bagillion other people doing the same exact thing you're doing, so sticking out like a sore thumb helps.
3. The Beatles were right.
When they sang "I get by with a lil help from my friends." You will make friends you never thought you would have while blogging.
4. Privacy? Whats that?
In order to make it as a blogger even a lil one like me, you have to allow people in. They don't want to be preached to by a robot. They want a real person, a person that wakes up at 12 pm and tweets Goodmorning!
5. Shy guy no fly.
You have to get involved, even if it only in online events, trending topics, talk to the weirdos of tweeter, they know people!
6. Regret or forget.
If you have an idea, write it, record it, tweet it, pin it. Just do something with it, if not someone else will.
7. Rat race.
Everyone is trying to do what you are doing, so why not help a fellow while you're on your way up.
If you learned how to do something share it.
8. Ch, Ch, Changes!
I love that song! Don't think you have to stick with one type of look on your blog, You like to change your clothes everyday right? well your blog likes to be spruced up a bit too.
9. Friendly inspirations.
In a slump? Good that means your doing something right! When you're in a slump, go blog hopping, YouTubing and you will be inspired when you least expect it, especially from blogging friends.
10. Pictures speak a thousand words.
Use your own damn pictures!
11. Watermark everything.
This is on account of number 10.
12. Take advantage of the word free.
Anything thats free and available online master it, image editors, button generators etc.
There is more but I am tired now and this laptop is burning my thighs, so I am going to make some sleep now. If you would like me to continue let me know. Good night.

Friday
And Now, Something Completely Magical
Hello, My Beauties!
It's Friday and am so glad easter is upon us! I can finally have a drink of soda, pop, cola or whatever you call it in your parts of the world. I gave it up for a few months, but I have to admit I am watering at the mouth just thinking about it.
Leigh Ann over at Blushing Beauty asked the question as part of the worlds largest beauty collab!
If You Could Have Only One Makeup/Beauty Item What Would It Be??
After some thought, which I am not going to lie, I got a little nervous! I mean how can you make me choose between my babies! I love every product in my collection drugstore, high end in my eyes they are all equal.
So narrowing it down I chose The L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier, I am in the color medium.
And Now, Something Completely Magical
This thing is truly magical, it goes on white with little purplish specks that you can feel and it is pretty watery.
Once you start applying to to your face it changes color and blends with your skin tone.
Once blended in it immediately erases flaws and enhances your skins appearance with I am not going to say a blurring effect, but more of a softening effect.
I personally use this as a face primer before foundation and it gives me the perfect results!
Thanks Leigh Ann for the great question, Now its my turn to shoot out a question to the beauty world!
Question: What is your favorite makeup brush and how do you use it?

Urban Decays Shining Star
Hello, My Beauties!
First of all I want to say, I can't believe that I got a response so quickly from the Lovely Michelle Andrea over at Discoairglow.com. How cool of a blog name is that haha! Anyhoo She Asked:
Question:What are/is your favorite versatile neutral eyeshadow pallette(s) and why?
After reading this question and saying it a loud, only one thing came to mind.
The Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.I mean look at it, it screams sexy, don't you think?
You can create a bagillion looks with it and never have the same look twice, you can use these shadows at liners and lip colors. Now I know everyone is on their Naked 3 Rampage, But I personally feel you can go a lot further with this palette and still be in the neutral zone.
In the words of Austin powers fasha "I love Gold!". haha :)
So, I am asking the Question to anyone who wants to join in on the "World's Largest Beauty Collab!"
Question: What's the deepest Red lip color you own and why?

How I Prep my Skin for Makeup
Hello, Beautiful!
I am so happy that this bad weather is finally behind us and I can wear my tube tops again! I am a big tube top fan, I pick them up whenever I see them. With the summer fast approaching and watching the Coachella events on T.V and social media I have to admit, I got the fever!
The looks that some celebrities wore to this event inspired me to create a Bohemian endless summer look. But before any product touched my face I knew I had to prepare my face to get that true endless summer look.
How I prep My Skin For Makeup
I have combination skin and I mean combination, I have oily or shiny moments in the T zone, then absolute desert dryness on the sides, especially under my eyes, it is something I am struggling with. My eyes get severely dry and it shows up with fine lines and wrinkles.
Something similar to this! haha.
Looking at me naturally you can see them, but when I apply makeup or concealer for my dark circles anything and everything finds their way into the cracks of my eyes, so I have learned a few tricks to help.
I learned that it is not the concealers job to fight my fine lines and wrinkles, its mine!
I have to hydrate that area. No matter what I plan on applying in that area it going to enhance those lines they are to deep to cover. So hydration is key here.
I apply 2 oils and 1 eye cream and so far its helping, no not a miracle, but its better than nothing.
As far as the rest of my face I do apply my serums, anything I can to keep my skin hydrated especially before makeup, thats when the truth comes out! Your makeup will move on oily areas and completely flake away on dry areas.
I put together this video showing you how I prep my face for makeup.
