Twilash Eye lash Enhancer Review and Demo

Hello, My Beauties!

As you know I recieved this Product Courtesy of a up and coming company, the creators of Twilash! I filmed a short video of my initial reaction to the product, which I will embed down below, so that you can laugh at me haha :). The following day, I filmed my first time using the product and the results.

Twilash is all in one product meant to replace your traditional eyelash curler, which can and actually does bend your lashes. This product uses the method of ribbon curling, rather than bending your lashes in a blunt force trauma way, it enhances their natural curve. Easy to use and it all in one! Curler, Mascara and Remover all in one contraption! So, lets get into the review!

Beauty Secrets Everyone Should Know

Hello, Beautiful!

When I hear the word secret, the things that come to mind are friends and their dirty little secrets. I mean there has to be someone in this big world that knows that stupid thing you did with you know who long ago. Right? Thank heavens, I thought it was just me :) What if we couldn't trust that person? What if that person decided to spill the beans? How would I handle it? What would I do? The horror!!

Well, thankfully I am at the stage in my life where I just don't care who knows what anymore. I can tell you it's a very liberating feeling. So since we are on the subject of secrets I wanted to share some secrets that I have found around the net pertaining to beauty and makeup. Some of these are tricks of the trade and some just make you go aha!

BEAUTY SECRETS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW

Skin

Adding that milk of magnesia works best on normal, oily, and combination skin and helps minimize pores, evens out skin tone, and keeps foundation from oxidizing and changing color. I know during the summer months I am going to be doing this for sure.

Lashes

Bring lashes out with gel eyeliner and a lash curler, First, take the lash curler and paint the liner on the sponge area of the lash curler. Wait about 10 to 15 seconds to let the liner dry slightly. Then, place the curler as close to the lash line as possible, hold for a few seconds, and release. After, apply a few coats of clear mascara to finish the look. It creates the perfect full lash and defined lash line but the look is a bit more natural and edgy. This sounds so nice for the days when you want a little something, but don't wanna go all the way.

Lips

Trace the outer edge of the top lip with a highlighter, concentrating the product at the Cupid’s bow and fading out towards the outer edges, a pearled cream highlighter is perfect for creating this effect. I personally do this often as my lips are disappearing as I get older,

Brows

Dust a bit of translucent powder using a small brush over your brows before setting them with a tinted brow gel, it immediately boosts the brow hairs and amplifies your natural brow shape even if you have fine or thin brows. Then just fill in any sparse areas with a pencil to get the definition you need. I know my powders always enhance my facial hair, so this makes sense to me.

Do you have any secrets to tell? Do share, I promise I won't will tell.

This Mascara is perfect for everyday drama. It has a wonderful wand that enhances every lash and a formula that just won't quit. This is my everyday go to mascara.

Mascara No.2

LashGasam By TooFaced

This Mascara is always there for me when I don't want to wear falsies, but I want to look as if I am wearing falsies. this wand get really close to the root of the lash making sure to coat every lash with sexiness. This mascara lasts all day and night, just be sure to give it a moment to dry once applied.

Mascara No.3

Full Exposure By SmashBox

This is a mascara I wear with my falsies to blend everything together. The wand is spaced out enough to to coat the lashes without making them spider like while allow my natural lashed to blend for a flawless look.
This also requires some time to dry as the formula is quiet wet, so that you can get your lashes combined into your falsies.

The Roundup

I love mascara and all its magical benefits, my only problem with mascaras is that they are on a three month expiration date, so they say. I feel the Benefit They're Real is the perfect size for any mascara, if you follow that rule. I mean who uses that much mascara in three months?

Do you follow the three month mascara rule?
I don't, maybe I should, but that's just me.

When do you wear false lashes?

I was in a blogger forum today and someone asked "when do you wear false lashes?" And it struck me, I wear falsies a lot! I didn't always, but I sure do love me some lashes now.

I wear them when I want some extra flare added to my eye looks, I love dramatic eyes! I bought some lashes off of Ebay a few years ago when I first started wearing falsies, they came all the way from China so it took forever but I loved them even though I didn't see them yet.

When they arrived they were plastic! And in order to wear them I had to soak them in makeup remover to get the unglued from the packaging! It was hilarious but I loved them anyway.

False Lashes can get very expensive, even at the drug store the lowest I have seen were from $4.99 to $7.00 a pair. I hated buying them. 1. I am a cheap ass. 2. One time wear ain't worth no $7.00 if I don't have a special occasion to attend.

I learned the difference between human hair and plastic lashes, I learned how to preserve my lashes for future use, I even learned how to split one pair of lashes in two for a nice cat eye looking lash. But I could never pay that much for them!

On a trip to L.A, My sister and I went downtown for some shopping. This place is like a circus, anything and everything you could ever want is within a 6-8 block radius. I asked if there were any beauty supply shops in the area and we were lead down the street.

This place was no bigger then a walk in closet, with the walls covered in lashes!! They had the largest selection I had ever seen!! I was in heaven, so many styles and colors it was truly amazing and the best part is they were only $1.50 a piece!! These lashes are exact dupes for Wild Cherry Lashes.

I picked up about $40.00 worth and by the time I gave some to the girls I still had enough to last me a whole year! I repurchased another bag full at a swapmeet in Vegas. And I never paid full price for lashes again!

So to answer the question, I wear lashes all the time.
