Revlon Colorstay Ultimate suede

Hello, beautiful!

As we all know spring brings everything to life and makes way for summer, with that comes heat and humidity. Don't get me wrong I love summer, but I could do without the sticky. That being said when summer comes around I do choose lighter and brighter shades to wear especially on my lips, but to be honest I hate the feeling of something on my lips. I mean it's summer time for sipping cold iced tea and ice cream cones and I personally don't want anything on my lips or anything I have to touch up often.

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede

All of the lipsticks have great staying power and feel very creamy when applied. They can dry out a bit, but don't lose the pigmentation. They are buildable if you don't like a sheer wash of color. They do have a bit of shimmer to them, but nothing overboard.

I like these lipsticks for summer time and the colors are truly spring inspired.

Have you tried these lipsticks?

Products were purchased myself, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bloggers and Sponsored posts

Hello, Beautiful!

So this morning I was doing my usual routine drinking my coffee and checking out my social medias. I came across a video from  friend of mine doing a review on a new product and as the video was playing I was skimming through the comments listening to the review when I saw a comment posted on the video stating that this person didn't  trust sponsored reviews.

Well, thats what I want to talk to you about today.

Bloggers and Sponsored posts

First of all when you start out as a blogger everything comes out of your pocket.
Hosting, domain, lighting, camera, even the products you review are being paid for by the blogger.
The time spent writing, reviewing editing is not compensated either. So you are basically doing all this for free. But something Valuable is being established, the bloggers reputation for giving honest and fair reviews.

After a while of doing free reviews on products you pretty much purchased yourself, Companies find you through your blog or other social medias and contact you to review their products, your compensation is getting a free product and building a reputation with the brand to try other future releases of products.

This could go on for months, yes you will build a reputation, but there will still be nothing in it for you besides your blog ads, which when starting out don't amount to anything great.

What is a Sponsored Post.

A Sponsored post is a post written by a blogger who is reviewing the product, but they are being compensated by the parent company or the secondary company who sells or promotes the product. Now this does not mean the company is paying the blogger for a commercial type review, but they are paying them to review the product and give a honest review, just the same as if they purchased the product themselves. The compensation could be the price of the product or other products to giveaway at a later date. Compensation does not always mean money.

Bloggers don't make much in the beginning, but in time it can turn into a career. So if every now and then a blogger posts a sponsored review understand that

1. It doesnt always mean money.
2. Bloggers need to eat.
3. The review would be the same sponsored or not.

If you don't trust your bloggers review Sponsored or not, find another blogger.
Bloggers are like a hair stylist, if you don't trust their judgement, its time to find a new stylist.

Tuesday

Pissed off today!

I am so pissed off today! I want to fight and scream and yell. Everything I tried to get done today went down the drain. I tried to record some videos a review and some tags and I erased the memory card with all the footage on it! I couldn't record again, because my son was acting up and it was just a noisy day. I broke out on my face which I know isn't a reaction or hormonal, but from dust! every time I get near any kind of dust my face goes mental and I get tiny little bumps that want to eat my soul starting with my face, so its probably better I didn't post the videos because thats all I noticed while going through the footage.

I made a big mistake in setting up my filming and vanity area in our bedroom. The T.V is in the bedroom and thats where the child is! He doesn't watch much TV, but he just needs to be where it is, thats why I took it out of the living room. When he goes down for a nap my husband who is a music producer/mixer guy starts doing his thing and it gets pretty loud, so I cant film at those times either. ARGHH!! I just want my own space where I could close the door and do my thing just for a few hours.

I know this isn't very interesting, but I needed to get it out of me, there is it.

Kushyfoot Review + Giveaway!! CLOSED

Hello, Beautiful!

I was sent a product for review by a Brand called Kushyfoot. But before we get into the review I want you all to know I am a very slipper and comfy sock wearer, especially during the winter months. So when they contacted me for this review I was like, yes!!  Also I have had a hard time wearing heels since that birth of my son, so getting me into heels has been hard and uncomfortable for me. Now onto the review.

Kushyfoot The Brand

Kushyfoot® was created and brought to market in 2003 by parent company Doris International Inc.

It is the first brand in women's hosiery to incorporate the ancient healing art of Reflexology. All products are exclusively designed to feature a comfortable sole. This is why we add a 3-dimensional padding or "massaging sole" to our products that acts as a cushion between bare feet and the hard insoles of a shoe. The Kushyfoot® sole helps relieve tension and discomfort in achy feet, thereby helping to relieve stress and fatigue throughout the entire body.

Our goal, at Kushyfoot®, is to fuse comfort and style in harmony to offer our clientele the latest trends in footwear and legwear. We consider ourselves market leaders in providing solution-based styling for all shoes and legwear that will accessorize any outfit.

We believe - and hope you agree - that Kushyfoot® massages your feet with every step™.

First off I want to say thank you to Kushyfoot for your generosity, They have sent me a lot of products to try.

Sport Cotton Foot Cover

Designed to wear with your runners, Keds or canvas sneakers, this foot cover will keep your feet cool and comfy all day long.

I like these for when I want a no show sock, They feel barely there and they are great for walking or running!

Extreme Low Cut Foot Covers

Kushyfoot® extreme low cut foot covers have invisible sides so they stay hidden at all times. Available in a nude/black combo pack and featuring a:

Padded sole to cushion the ball of your foot;
Heel grip to ensure a stay-put fit every time;
Super stretchy design to fit every foot shape and size.

I love these for wearing flats or heels. Having a nylon feel make them feel barely there. They stay hidden and add a soft pad to my every step.

They also come in a soft lace for even more barely there comfort.

Fleece Tights

For ultra warmth.
Ultra soft fleece tights give you total opaque coverage so you can brave even the coldest of days.
I love these for days when I am wearing a short skirt, they keep me warm and make my legs look great!

Microfiber Crew

Kushyfoot® soft microfiber crew is designed with Coolmax® to keep you dry and comfortable all day. These have a zigzag pattern on the sol to help the ball of your foot as you walk. These are great for days when you will be on your feet.

Flats to go

These lightweight and ultra portable flats have a soft sole which allows them to be rolled up or folded so that you can tote them in your purse ready for any potential shoe emergency. Designed for indoor use and occasionally on smooth outdoor surfaces. Great for travel too!

I can't even explain how many times I have gone out in a pair of heels and after dinner and dancing with drinks my feet were screaming for a flat shoe and I had to run into the nearest drug store and purchase a cheap flip flop or those Dr. Scholls flat thingies. These are very similar to the Dr. Scholls flats, but these have a zigzag sole that massages your feet as you walk. I know after a night out these will definitely come in handy and keep me happy :) I only wish they came in a cute bag like the Dr. Scholls.

The Conclusion.

I do like these and will continue to use them, anyone who is on their feet most of the day will appreciate them and the comfort they bring to your feet. I can see a Doctor, Nurse, Chef, Postal worker and anyone else who spends their days on their feet even moms like me :)  They have many styles to choose from at the Kushyfoot website http://www.kushyfoot.com/

Dreaming Your Dream

A Dream is a wish your heart makes, so says Princess Aurora in Disney's Sleeping Beauty.
I believe this is true and I also believe our dreams aren't easy to follow.

Life can surprise us and take us for a loop, turn us upside down and inside out in a second.
If you're still passionate about your dream after all of that, then its worth pursuing. There are times when I question what I do, with so many people asking why do you do this if it serves no purpose to you.

The problem is, they don't see what I see. They don't see my long term goal or my vision becoming a reality.
Are you going to give up on what I want because someone else can't see it?

Dreaming your dream is what makes it all worth it.
So you keep dreaming little dreamer.
